Which fuel should I use in the fire pillar?

The removable fire pot is designed for bioethanol and fire gel – both burn without smoke, without flying sparks and without ash.

Is fuel included?

No – you can buy bioethanol or fire gel at DIY stores or drugstores. The column comes with fire pot and lid, ready for your first fill.

How do I extinguish the flame?

Place the supplied lid on top – it smothers the flame in a controlled way. Never extinguish with water.

What makes it different from the Orela fire column?

This one is the tall, angular minimalist – smooth surfaces, clean edges, up to 129 cm. Orela is the round, playful sister with laser-cut spiral circles (80/100 cm). The fire pot system is the same for both.

Will the column be delivered fully rusted?

Yes – the vintage rust patina is fully developed on arrival, exactly as shown. No waiting, no after-treatment.

Large column

Yes. Corten steel is weatherproof and frost-resistant – the column is made for permanent outdoor use. Close the fire bowl with the lid when not in use.

  • Heat development: Fire baskets and similar products become very hot during use. Avoid touching them with bare hands. Use heat-resistant gloves.
  • Not suitable for children: Keep children away from these products to prevent injury. There is also a risk of injury from residual heat after use.

Cleaning and Care

  • Rust products: These are natural products and will continue to develop over time. Cleaning is generally not necessary, as rust is a natural process that gives the product its unique character.
  • Powder-coated products: Clean these products with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or wire brushes, as these can damage the coating. Small scratches can be touched up with special repair paint to prevent corrosion.
