Rusty flower planter – decorative cube with integrated planting bowl 🌿
This rusty planter in a striking cube shape makes quite an impression with its 50 cm edge length – at the front door, on the patio, balcony or indoors in the conservatory. On top sits an integrated planter bowl (Ø 40 cm, 20 cm planting depth), the underside is open – so despite its presence, the planter is still easy to move.
➤ Gift idea: ideal for housewarming, birthday or Mother’s Day – once planted, it becomes a personal gift.
Your planter will arrive already fully rusted at your door exactly as shown in the product photos: the body made of solid Corten steel, the integrated planting bowl made of steel – both rusted by hand in our manufactory. No faux-rust coating. Unpack, plant, done.

💡 How it looks best
As a stand-alone piece by the front door, the cube welcomes your guests; on the patio it sets a calm, architectural accent among pots and furniture. Planted with boxwood or grasses it looks modern, with lush summer flowers romantic – in autumn with heather, in winter with branches and fairy lights. Planting tips can be found in our guide. The warm rust look harmonizes with plants, lanterns and wooden decor, in both modern and rustic homes.
❓ Frequently asked questions
How do I plant the flower pot? Plant directly into the integrated planter bowl – we recommend lining the bowl with dimpled membrane first: this protects the metal and extends its life. Then add soil and plant.
How does the watering drain? In the centre of the planting bowl there is a 6 mm drainage hole – rain and irrigation water can run off, preventing waterlogging. If you use dimpled membrane, simply cut out the hole as well.
Why is the cube open at the bottom? This makes it easy to carry and move despite its size – it still stands securely on its four edges.
Can the planter stain? On light surfaces (patio, stone slabs) rust can leave marks – a mat or tray underneath will help.
Is that real rust? Yes – body made of corten steel, planter bowl made of steel, both naturally rusted in our workshop. No paint, no coating.
