Our materials – high-quality, durable and sustainable

At Rostikal, we place great value on selecting first-class materials for our products. For our weathered-steel and Corten-steel decorations in particular, we use high-quality COR-TEN® steel. This weather-resistant steel forms a stable rust patina through natural exposure to the elements, which is not only visually appealing but also acts as a protective layer against further corrosion.

This is how your decor arrives: fully rusted

There’s one important difference compared to many other providers: with us, your weathered-steel decoration is already fully rusted when delivered – you see the rust look immediately, just like in the product photos. No weeks of waiting for the patina, no mixing of rust-accelerator recipes as is necessary with bare steel. Unpack, set up, done. Outdoors, the patina then continues to develop naturally and makes each piece even more characterful over the years.

Original SSAB COR-TEN® steel impresses with excellent forming, machining and welding properties. It exceeds common standards and offers high strength, weather resistance and a long service life – ideal for durable garden and home decorations.

Each weathered-steel product made from COR-TEN® steel is unique: the characteristic patina continues to develop outdoors and gives every piece an individual look. At the same time, this natural rusting process ensures that your decoration remains weatherproof and robust – whether in the garden, on the patio or indoors.

For our powder-coated metal parts, we rely on even, high-quality coatings that provide a modern, hard-wearing surface. This gives you the choice between a natural rust look and a contemporary, uniformly colored design.

Packaging materials from the region

At Rostikal, we also focus on quality and sustainability when it comes to our packaging materials. We source all our boxes from Top-eingepackt.de, a German manufacturer located just 15 km away, known for environmentally friendly and high-quality packaging solutions. By working with regional suppliers, we not only support the local economy, but also ensure that our products are packaged safely and in an eco-friendly way. Our customers can be confident that the packaging of their orders is produced just as sustainably and responsibly as the products themselves.

Local finishing and powder coating

At Rostikal we attach great importance to the local production and processing of our products. The refinement by rusting of our articles takes place directly in our company, which creates the characteristic patina of precious rust. The powder coating of our products is also realized in the immediate vicinity - specifically in the next town. With this approach, we not only support the local economy, but also minimize the environmental impact that could result from long transport routes. By focusing on short distances and local cooperation, we guarantee the high quality of our products and contribute to environmental protection at the same time.

Efficient use of material through optimized nesting

At Rostikal, we place great emphasis on efficient use of materials and minimizing waste. To achieve this, we use special software to nest our metal sheets and steel materials, which are manufactured in Germany. Through this method, we ensure that the metal plates are optimally cut and arranged to minimize material scrap and avoid material waste. In this way, we not only contribute to environmental protection, but also ensure resource-saving and sustainable production of our high-quality products.
