Rostikal attaches great importance to sustainable actions in all areas. We constantly question our working methods, material selection, product design, production, transport, sales and even our working hours in order to optimally adapt them to environmental concerns.

Our goal is to use renewable and recycled resources as materials and implement environmentally friendly processes. In doing so, we strive to produce durable products that can be reused, repaired and recycled by our customers. For us, sustainability is not a fad, but a fundamental philosophy to which we are committed.

Sustainable through own photovoltaics

As a company, sustainability is very important to us. For this reason, we have invested in a photovoltaic system to cover our electricity needs almost entirely through renewable energy sources.

By using solar energy, we can make our production more environmentally friendly and sustainable. At the same time, we can reduce our dependence on fossil fuels.

Responsible recycling of cardboard packaging

At Rostikal, we focus on sustainability and the responsible use of resources. Therefore, we collect cardboard boxes from surrounding companies that would otherwise end up in the trash. By shredding these cartons, we turn them into valuable packaging material that we use for our own products. In this way, we help to reduce waste and at the same time protect the environment by requiring fewer new packaging materials.

Upcycling foam

We also pay attention to sustainability when packaging our large products. We use foam that would normally be discarded as waste to cushion our heavy products. By upcycling this material, we give it a new purpose and prevent it from ending up in landfills. This is not only good for the environment, but also ensures that our products arrive safely and well protected to our customers.

Unsere Manufaktur verfolgt das Ziel "NULL Abfall". Wir setzen uns aktiv dafür ein, unsere Produktionsprozesse stetig zu verbessern und noch nachhaltiger zu gestalten, um den Abfall auf ein Minimum zu reduzieren. Ein Beispiel dafür ist unsere Herstellung, bei der wir sicherstellen, dass die Metallplatten, die im Laser geschnitten werden, optimal verschachtelt sind. Dadurch können wir Materialverschwendung vermeiden und den Ausschuss auf ein Minimum reduzieren.
