This garden figure made of original Corten steel (rust finish) is a durable metal decoration for outdoor areas. The clown (40 cm high) stands on a round base plate and is ideal as an eye-catcher in the flower bed, at the front door or on the patio – year-round, weatherproof and frost-resistant.

Material & rust development (Corten steel)
Outdoors, Corten steel forms a dense protective rust layer (patina) that protects the material in the long term. The colour and texture of the rust surface change depending on location, weather and time – this makes each figure look slightly different.
Stability & placement
- The round base plate (Ø 18 cm) ensures a stable stand on solid surfaces (e.g. stone, concrete, wood).
- For very soft surfaces (soil/mulch), a solid base or suitable underlay is recommended.
Notes on use
- Two sizes: 100 or 129 cm – square, 24 × 24 cm, without motif.
- Edges: Clean laser-cut contours; as is typical for metal, the figure should not be used as a toy.
- Care: No coating required. The patina is intentional and continues to develop naturally.

- Is the figure delivered fully rusted?
- Depending on stock, the figure may already have a patina or still look metallic. Outdoors it will rust naturally over time through weathering.
- Is the figure winterproof?
- Yes. Corten steel is suitable for year-round outdoor use and is frost-resistant.
- Can rust stain the floor?
- Yes, especially at the beginning when exposed to moisture. On delicate surfaces we recommend using a protective underlay.
- How stable is the figure?
- Thanks to the base plate (Ø 18 cm), the figure stands securely on flat surfaces. In very windy locations, additional securing may be advisable (depending on the site).

Product-Specific Warnings
- Discoloration: Rust products may leave stains on floors and surfaces. Use suitable mats or pads to prevent discoloration.
- Tip-over hazard: Larger products such as columns, bowls, or fire baskets can tip over in strong winds. Secure them accordingly, especially during storms.
- Heat development: Fire baskets and similar products become very hot during use. Avoid touching them with bare hands. Use heat-resistant gloves.
- Not suitable for children: Keep children away from these products to prevent injury. There is also a risk of injury from residual heat after use.
Cleaning and Care
- Rust products: These are natural products and will continue to develop over time. Cleaning is generally not necessary, as rust is a natural process that gives the product its unique character.
- Powder-coated products: Clean these products with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or wire brushes, as these can damage the coating. Small scratches can be touched up with special repair paint to prevent corrosion.

Delivery times
Unless otherwise specified in the respective offer, delivery within Germany takes 1 - 3 business days, and international deliveries take 1 - 3 business days after conclusion of the contract (in case of agreed advance payment, after receipt of your payment instruction).
Please note that there are no deliveries on Sundays and public holidays.
If you have ordered items with different delivery times, we will ship the items together in one shipment, unless we have made other arrangements with you. In this case, the delivery time is determined by the item with the longest delivery time you ordered.
