The delicate floral pattern runs all around the entire lantern. As soon as a candle is lit, the flower motif casts enchanting light patterns onto the table and walls – an effect that comes into its own especially at dusk. The lantern stands firmly welded on three half-spheres – no wobbling, no tipping over.

The lantern is made in our own workshop in Neunburg vorm Wald from high-quality Corten steel. Our accelerated decorative rust process creates the characteristic rusty-brown patina – a natural protective layer that stabilises the lantern and prevents further rusting through. Each piece is unique: the rust tones are never exactly the same.

What size candle fits in the lantern?
The small version (Ø 18 cm) fits tealights or smaller pillar candles up to approx. 15 cm high. The large version (Ø 20 cm × 35 cm) is suitable for pillar candles up to approx. 25 cm high or several tealights side by side.

Can I use the lantern outdoors?
Yes. Corten steel is weather-resistant – the rust patina is intentional and protects the material. Avoid leaving it for long periods on delicate surfaces (light stone, wood), as rust particles may rub off.

Will the lantern continue to rust through over time?
No. The rusted surface is a natural protection that prevents rusting through. The material does not become thinner over time – the patina only changes slightly in colour and gives each piece its unique character.

Do both lanterns have the same flower pattern?
Yes, both sizes feature the same continuous floral motif – they complement each other perfectly as a decor set.

How do I care for the wind light?
No care required. If necessary, simply wipe it dry. Do not use harsh cleaners – the natural patina should be preserved.

Does the lantern get hot when a candle is burning?
As with any metal lantern, the body warms up slightly. Please do not touch it directly after the candle has gone out and place it on a heat-resistant surface.
