Metal fire pit â solid fire basket with crack design đ„
No motif, no frills â pure metalwork: this solid fire basket in a clear cube shape lets the embers shine through narrow crack cut-outs, as if the fire were bursting the steel itself. Made in our workshop from 3 mm thick sheet steel, fully hand-welded â no slot-together system, no thin sheet metal, but a fire pit that stands solidly, doesnât rattle and will last for many fire seasons.
†Gift idea: for weddings, milestone birthdays or housewarmings â the gift for everyone who appreciates understatement and substance.
âš Hand-welded & fully rusted â no slot-together system
Your fire pit arrives already fully rusted to you exactly as shown in the product photos â 3 mm steel, welded in our workshop and rusted by hand. No fake rust coating, no rattling, no burning through like with cheap plug-in systems. Unpack, set up, light it.

đĄ How it looks best
On the patio as a warming centerpiece, in the garden as a gathering spot for long evenings â the compact cube shape also fits where a tall fire pit would be too bulky. A fireproof stone slab as a base protects the ground and showcases the fire feature. Youâll find more models with motifs in our fire basket collection, and matching lighting in our lanterns.
â Frequently asked questions
Can I decorate the fire basket without a fire? Absolutely â filled with firewood, fitted with a string of lights or simply left as a rust sculpture, the solid cube is a year-round eye-catcher. Many people use it as a decorative log store by the door in winter.
Can embers fall out of the fire pit? No â the bottom is closed and firmly welded, embers and ash remain inside the basket. Simply empty it out after it has cooled down.
What about flying sparks? The crack-shaped cut-outs can cause sparks to fly â thatâs exactly what creates the light effect. Use on a fireproof surface, keep distance from anything flammable, and never leave the fire unattended. The basket is open at the top.
Will the fire basket warp from the heat? The solid 3 mm sheet and welded construction are dimensionally stable â nothing rattles or wobbles here, unlike with thin slot-together fire baskets.
Is that real rust? Yes â steel, naturally rusted in our workshop. The patina continues to develop with every fire and every rain shower. No paint, no coating.
