💡 How it looks best
On the patio next to the seating area, on the steps down to the garden or as a glowing focal point in a flower bed – the sphere looks best slightly elevated, for example on a stone slab or pillar, so that the flame rim can be seen clearly. ❓ Frequently asked questions
How do I fire the fire bowl? Two options: a small wood fire with thin logs directly in the open hollow – or insert the optional bioethanol fire pot for a clean, smokeless flame with no ash.
What’s the benefit of the fire pot with lid? The lid regulates the flame and safely smothers it to extinguish – the reduction also extends the burning time. Important: never refill bioethanol while the flame is burning or the pot is still hot.
What about flying sparks? With a wood fire, the open bowl can cause flying sparks – use a fireproof base, keep distance from flammable materials and never leave the fire unattended. In contrast, bioethanol burns calmly and without sparks.
Can the sphere stain? On light surfaces (patio, paving slabs) rust can leave marks – a base or mat will prevent this.
Is that real rust? Yes – steel with a naturally developed rust patina, no paint, no coating. The patina continues to evolve outdoors – that’s exactly what gives it its character.

Product-Specific Warnings
- Discoloration: Rust products may leave stains on floors and surfaces. Use suitable mats or pads to prevent discoloration.
- Tip-over hazard: Larger products such as columns, bowls, or fire baskets can tip over in strong winds. Secure them accordingly, especially during storms.
- Heat development: Fire baskets and similar products become very hot during use. Avoid touching them with bare hands. Use heat-resistant gloves.
- Not suitable for children: Keep children away from these products to prevent injury. There is also a risk of injury from residual heat after use.
Cleaning and Care
- Rust products: These are natural products and will continue to develop over time. Cleaning is generally not necessary, as rust is a natural process that gives the product its unique character.
- Powder-coated products: Clean these products with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or wire brushes, as these can damage the coating. Small scratches can be touched up with special repair paint to prevent corrosion.
