While our classic columns support a bowl on spheres, on Carlos the plant bowl is firmly integrated: a Ă 30 cm opening with 15 cm planting depth, recessed into the solid body. This creates a seamless look â architecturally calm, with no visible transitions, and absolutely stable.

Corten steel forms a protective barrier layer beneath the visible rust that seals the material and prevents further corrosion. The column is frost-proof, weather-resistant and low-maintenance, can stay outside all year round and only gains character over time.

The easiest way is the cachepot principle: planted pots up to Ă 30 cm can be placed directly into the opening and swapped out for the season in no time â spring flowers, summer blooms, heather in autumn, an arrangement for Advent. If you plant directly, add a drainage layer of gravel at the bottom.

Is the planter bowl removable?
No â and thatâs exactly the idea: The bowl is firmly integrated into the top of the column. Nothing slips, nothing needs to be aligned, the column looks like itâs cast from a single piece.
Will the column be delivered fully rusted?
Yes. Your column made of genuine Corten steel is already fully rusted when delivered â youâll see the decorative rust finish immediately, just like in the photos. No waiting, no after-treatment required.
Why doesnât the column have a motif?
