💡 How it looks best
At the front door, the rusty decor chair welcomes your guests; in the flower bed it adds height between perennials and grasses. Plant it in spring with violas, in summer with geraniums or succulents, in autumn with heather and a small pumpkin – and in winter it delights with fir greenery and fairy lights. Planting tips can be found in our guide. The warm rust look harmonises with plants, lanterns and wooden decor, in both modern and rustic homes.
❓ Frequently asked questions
How do I plant the decor chair? The seat is a deep planter box (35 × 35 cm) with drainage holes in the bottom – you can plant directly inside or place a ready-made pot in it and change the decor with the seasons. Excess rainwater drains off, waterlogging doesn’t stand a chance.
Does the chair stand securely in the wind? On an even surface it stands stably on four legs; once planted, the extra weight gives it additional stability. For exposed, windy locations we recommend a sheltered spot, as with any taller garden decor.
Can the chair stain? On light floors (terrace, stone slabs) rust can leave marks – a mat underneath will help.
Will the chair continue to rust? The decorative rust patina continues to develop naturally outdoors and protects the steel – that’s exactly what creates its lively character.
Is that real rust? Yes – Corten steel, naturally rusted in our workshop. No paint, no coating.
