Sometimes less really is more: This 1-metre-high, sturdy plant pillar (tapered 32 × 32 → 22 × 22 cm) made of genuine Corten steel deliberately comes without a motif – clean lines, warm rust patina, done. That’s exactly what makes it the most versatile rust-look pillar for the garden: it suits modern architecture just as well as country style, natural stone, wood and perennial beds. With an optional plant bowl up to Ø 60 cm, it becomes a large flower column for outdoors – as an outdoor decor pillar, planting stele at the entrance or rusty plant stand on the patio.

Corten steel forms a protective barrier layer beneath the visible rust that seals the material and prevents further corrosion. The column is frost-proof, weather-resistant and low-maintenance, can stay outside all year round and only gains character over time.
💡 Planting tip
Precisely because the column is so simple, you can change the planting throughout the year: pansies and primroses in spring, lush geraniums or trailing petunias in summer, grasses and heather in autumn, a fir arrangement with string lights in winter. All bowls are removable and can be planted separately – a drainage layer of gravel keeps the drain hole and slots clear.

Why doesn’t the column have a motif?
Deliberately understated: the smooth surfaces give your planting center stage and suit any garden style – from modern to country. If you’d like a motif, you’ll find links above to the dandelion and ornament versions.
Will the column be delivered fully rusted?
Yes. Your column made of genuine Corten steel is already fully rusted when delivered – you’ll see the decorative rust finish immediately, just like in the photos. No waiting, no after-treatment required.
Which planter bowl fits the column?
You have the choice: square bowls (50 × 50 cm, standard or 15 cm deep) or round bowls with a diameter of 50, 53 or 60 cm – all removable and offering plenty of space for your planting.
Can I illuminate the column?
This column has no laser-cut motifs – for atmospheric lighting effects in the evening we recommend our motif columns, such as the dandelion version (link above).
57, 70, 85 cm, 1 m or 1.30 m – which size is right for me?
All five are deliberately understated: the 57 cm is the compact one with fixed bowl (35 × 35 cm) – ideal for entrance and windowsill. The 70 cm is the slender one for seating height. The 85 cm is the mid-height option under windows and along railings. The 1 m classic carries bowls up to Ø 60 cm. And the 1.30 m flagship holds bowls up to Ø 70 cm, perfect for planting while standing. You’ll find the links above in the description.
Can the column stay outside all year round?
Yes. Corten steel is weatherproof and frost-resistant and designed for long-term use in the garden, on the patio or balcony.

Product-Specific Warnings
- Discoloration: Rust products may leave stains on floors and surfaces. Use suitable mats or pads to prevent discoloration.
- Tip-over hazard: Larger products such as columns, bowls, or fire baskets can tip over in strong winds. Secure them accordingly, especially during storms.
- Heat development: Fire baskets and similar products become very hot during use. Avoid touching them with bare hands. Use heat-resistant gloves.
- Not suitable for children: Keep children away from these products to prevent injury. There is also a risk of injury from residual heat after use.
Cleaning and Care
- Rust products: These are natural products and will continue to develop over time. Cleaning is generally not necessary, as rust is a natural process that gives the product its unique character.
- Powder-coated products: Clean these products with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or wire brushes, as these can damage the coating. Small scratches can be touched up with special repair paint to prevent corrosion.

Unless otherwise specified in the respective offer, delivery within Germany takes 1 - 3 business days, and international deliveries take 1 - 3 business days after conclusion of the contract (in case of agreed advance payment, after receipt of your payment instruction).
Please note that there are no deliveries on Sundays and public holidays.
If you have ordered items with different delivery times, we will ship the items together in one shipment, unless we have made other arrangements with you. In this case, the delivery time is determined by the item with the longest delivery time you ordered.
