Remove loose rust
Metal with thick layers of rust should be treated as follows: Apply OWATROL-OIL, which reaches the stuck rust layers due to its enormous creeping ability through the rust leaf. The curing of OWATROL-OIL leads to a solidification of the substrate and the loose rust can be easily removed or is repelled by the penetrated OWATROL-OIL. What remains is a saturated rust surface that is optimally prepared for further work.

The principle of action of OWATROL-OIL makes it possible to preserve rusty metal in its actual condition. In this way, the fashionable trend of "rusty utensils" can be fully complied with. Rusty parts remain just as rusty - no more and no less. OWATROL-OIL penetrates the rust pores and displaces air and moisture. The OIL dries, closes the pores so that no new moisture can penetrate. The result: rust process stopped! In addition, weathered/corroded sheet metal, aluminum or lead can be preserved in their as-is condition. The maximum creep ability prevents film formation on the surface with the effect that ALT remains ALT.
